Sessions/Tracks
Session
1: Pediatrics
and Pediatric ophthalmology
Pediatrics is a branch of medicine which involves the care for neonates and children of various ages to keep them
healthy and growing. The aim of the investigation of Pediatrics is to decrease new-born and infants rate of
deaths, control the spread of diseases and also to promote healthy
lifestyles for a long infection free life and help to facilitate the
problems of children and adolescents. Pediatricians work both in hospitals, taking care of
infants, children particularly those working in its sub specialties such as
neonatology, and as outpatient primary care physicians.
Pediatric ophthalmology is a sub-speciality of
ophthalmology which deals with eye diseases, visual development and helps to
diagnose vision care in children. It includes both prevention and treatment of eye diseases. Ophthalmology is an exciting surgical specialty that
encompasses many various other disorders, including: strabismus, pediatric
ophthalmology, glaucoma,
neuro-ophthalmology, anterior segment/cornea, and ocular oncology.

2: Neonatal care
Neonatal care is that the sort of care a baby born premature
or sick receives during a neonatal unit. Units are a part of hospitals which
provide care for babies who are born prematurely with a medical
condition which needs treatment, or at a low
birth weight. Many ENC interventions are simple and
may be provided by a talented Birth Attendant or a trained Community
Health Worker or Traditional Birth
Attendant or by a loved one supporting the mother during a clinic or reception.

Session 3: Pediatric nutrition
It explains or
illustrates the dietary needs of infants to support growth and development,
including changes in organ function, overall body composition and overall health
of children. Nutritional
needs may differ considerably with respect to age, level of activity, and
environmental conditions and they are directly related to the rate of growth.
In the time of perinatal period the growth totally depends on adequate maternal
nutrition.
At the stage of infancy the need for calories is needed especially in the form
of protein, is greater than at any because of the rapid increase in both height
and weight, a healthy amount of fat is important for babies' brain and nerve
development and during this stage of life, it's almost all about the milk as
breast milk will provide practically every nutrient
a baby needs for the first year of life and gives a stronger immunity from
dreadful diseases.
Pediatric
malnutrition is termed as the proper nutrient requirements and intake that
results in cumulative deficits of energy, protein, or micronutrients
that may negatively affect growth, development, and other relevant
outcomes. Not enough nutrients is also
called as under nutrition or undernourishment
while too much nutrients is also called as over nutrition.

It is the normal way of providing young infants with
the nutrients
they need for healthy growth and development.
It contains two types of proteins whey
and casein. It helps defends against infections, prevent
allergies, and protect against a number of chronic
conditions.
Lactoferrin inhibits the growth of iron-dependent

Session 6: Pediatric
health care and Immunology
Pediatric health care Pediatric
Health Care specializes in pediatric medicine for a child's physical,
emotional and developmental health. It provides holistic care for child and
their families. Pediatric healthcare includes compounded medications, is a
challenge for healthcare providers.
Pediatric primary health care for children, infants in family centred
and incorporates community resources and strengthens
needs and risk factors, and socio
cultural sensitivities into strategies for care delivery and clinical
practice.
It is the study of immune system which
protects the baby from chronic infections. Like many other systems within the
body, the system isn't fully functional at birth and thus we are at an
increased risk of infection.
At an equivalent time, the act of being born – moving from the sterile
environment of the womb to the broader world, exposes us to an entire range of pathogens
that we've never encountered and haven't any protection against. To supplement
this era of immune
immaturity and reduce the danger of infection, the mother transfers passive
protection to the kid, mainly within the sort of antibody.

Session 7: Child Abuse Pediatrics
Any physical, sexual or psychological abuse or neglect of kid by a parent or
caregiver is thought as ill-treatment or child abuse. Physical abuse is
inflicting any non-accidental or intentional injury to a toddler. Emotional abuse is once a child’s
mental or social
development or cause severe emotional hurt. Most emotional abuse is caused by a
pattern of behaviour and is commonly repetitive. aside from the
on top of sorts of abuse, neglecting a toddler from its basic support required
for a child’s
health, safety and
welfare like inadequate oversight, emotional neglect, medical neglect or
instructional neglect come back underneath ill-treatment. Since charity begins
reception, the act to stop ill-treatment should begin reception moreover. They
need to be tutored to boost their voice to stop them from abuse in their

Neurology and child psychology
Pediatric neurology is the multidisciplinary branch of medicine
as it deals with the care from infants to adolescence with all forms of neurological
disorders. It also encompasses the disorders of the spinal
cord, muscles and blood vessels. Pediatric
psychology is the part of science and clinical
practice that addresses the
range of psychological development, health, and illness issues in
neonates. Pediatric neurologists treat
conditions and diseases of the brain and neurological system in children.
Child
psychology is that the study of subconscious
and conscious childhood
development. Child psychologists observe how a toddler interacts
with their parents, themselves, and therefore the world, to know their mental
development. Child psychologists also can identify abnormal
behaviours early, help detect the basis of common behavioural issues like
learning issues, hyperactivity, or anxiety, and help children run through infancy trauma.
They can also help to stop evaluate, and

It is a kind of rare
cancer that comprises a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with substantial
histological diversity. New-born cancer is
a rare event. The appearance and behaviour of neonatal tumours often differ
from those of older children, resulting in differences in diagnosis
and management. Neonatal causes of cancer aren't clear, but genetic factors are
likely to play a key role. Congenital
anomalies are usually present.

heart diseases
Children
are born with can change the way blood flows through the heart and lungs. These
defects can cause less blood to flow to the lungs some of the heart
defects in which a child may appear well in the first day or two after births,
only to become ill when the blood vessel closes. The common thread in these lesions
is that the ductus provides a big amount of blood to either the body or the
lungs. Early recognition and management are essential to save lots of life and
stop any comorbidity. The presentation of cardiac
emergencies and etiologies is variable counting on the age of kid at the

Child psychologists also can identify abnormal behaviours early, help detect the basis of common behavioural issues like learning issues, hyperactivity, or anxiety, and help children run through infancy trauma. They can also help to stop evaluate, and diagnose developmental delays or abnormalities like autism.

Pediatric Nursing & Pediatric Care
It is a branch of nursing that deals with medical care of infants and
children suffering from different disorders since their birth to
adolescence. Pediatric nurses devote their knowledge and skills to focus
on the medical necessities and advanced treatments and check-up of infants, neonates
and children as their specialized training allows them to
provide adolescent patients and their families with utmost emotional, health support and medical care during their course
of illness.
Pediatric
care is a part of medication that has the medicinal consideration of
new-born children or toddlers. A medicinal
specialist who spends significant time around there's referred to as a pediatrician.

Cancer
It is a kind of rare
cancer that comprises a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with substantial
histological diversity. New-born cancer is
a rare event. The appearance and behaviour of neonatal tumours often differ
from those of older children, resulting in differences in diagnosis
and management. Neonatal causes of cancer aren't clear, but genetic factors are
likely to play a key role. Congenital
anomalies are usually present.

Session 12: Neonatal
heart diseases
Children
are born with can change the way blood flows through the heart and lungs. These
defects can cause less blood to flow to the lungs some of the heart
defects in which a child may appear well in the first day or two after births,
only to become ill when the blood vessel closes. The common thread in these lesions
is that the ductus provides a big amount of blood to either the body or the
lungs. Early recognition and management are essential to save lots of life and
stop any comorbidity. The presentation of cardiac
emergencies and etiologies is variable counting on the age of kid at the

Session 14: Neonatal Infections and
Antibiotics
They are the infections of the neonates acquired during prenatal
development and
they transmitted from mother to child in the birth canal or after birth. As
antibiotics used for prevention and treatment of bacterial diseases and is
effective for neonatal
infections, especially when the pathogen is quickly identified. As this
infections which it usually increases the risk of neonatal sepsis by allowing
passage for bacteria to enter the womb prior to the birth of the infant. Neonatal infection can even distress the families and
it initiates tedious effort to treat it by clinicians.

Heart Transplantation and Heart Devices
Cardiac
Transplantation is a Therapeutic procedure whereby the heart of a suitable donor
is implanted into a recipient. Transplants are
done when a child's heart doesn't work well and he or she won't survive without
a replacement one. Doctors sometimes call this heart failure, or end-stage pediatric
heart disease. It is an operation where a cardio thoracic surgeon
replaces the defected heart with a new donor heart.
They are mechanical device that used to support heart
function and blood flow in people having week heart as like as healthy
heart. This device takes blood from lower chamber of the guts and pumps to
the all the vital
organs of the body. Many cardiac
devices are designed to assist control irregular heartbeats in people with cardiac
rhythm disorders. These irregularities are caused by problems with the
heart’s electrical system, which signals the heart to contract and pump blood
throughout the body.

Cyanosis and heart stroke
Cyanosis
indicates there could also be decreased oxygen attached to red blood cells
within the bloodstream.
It may suggest a drag with the lungs or heart. Cyanosis refers to a
bluish-purple hue to the skin and mucous
membrane. It is most easily seen where the skin is thin, like the lips,
mouth, earlobes and fingernails.
Pediatric
heart stroke is a rare condition Stroke is a type of blood vessel
disorder. When a vessel within the brain is injured, the brain
tissue around it loses blood supply and suffers injury also. Treatments
and long-term outcome in children are different for every type.

Session 17: Pediatric
Hypertension and Pediatric Pulmonology
Hypertension
is known to be a major cause of morbidity and mortality in many countries.
Long-term health risks to children with hypertension could also be substantial.
Many children mild hypertension are asymptomatic
is diagnosed as a routine BP measurement.
In Pneumonic
hypertension, the veins of the lungs have an expanded measure of muscle in
the dividers. This causes a higher opposition in the lungs. The correct side of
the heart at that point needs to work more enthusiastically to siphon blood out
to the lungs. The correct side of the heart will extend and thicken in light of
this additional work. With time, the additional work set on the correct side of
the heart can make it fall flat. Some of
the symptoms are Fatigue, Dizziness, and Nosebleeds etc.
Pulmonology
may be a medicine that deals with diseases involving the tract. Pulmonology is
taken into account a branch of general medicine, and is said to medical care.
Pulmonology often involves managing patients who need life support and
mechanical ventilation. Pulmonologists
are specially trained in diseases
and conditions of the chest in particularly.

Research in Cardiac Care
Current advances in technology
and research work mainly focuses on early detection of the CHD. By detecting it
at an early stage the survival rate increases. The on-going research includes
pioneering the utilization of heart scanning within the early diagnosis of heart
condition in diabetics, Development of Nuclear Cardiology techniques for
the detection of heart disease, Drug development and evaluation of treatments
utilized in heart condition, Identification of novel biological
markers to predict the presence of heart condition, analysis of ethnic and
